Ballet
Our ballet dancers learn the principles of technique and placement while developing strength through proper alignment and understanding of ballet vocabulary. Classes are offered for a wide range of ages and abilities. All Core Ballet classes begin in September and culminate in a year-end performance in May.
Core Ballet starts September 7th. Spring Semester begins January 11th. Admission is always open, so you can join at any time! Plus, we offer prorated tuition to ensure flexible enrollment options for all.
Ballet / Tap Combo (K-1st) This fun class will introduce your dancer to the basic vocabulary and positions of classical Ballet while also teaching basic rhythms and steps of Tap. An energetic class and a great way for your dancer to explore various styles of dance.
Ballet I (K-1st) teaches students the fundamentals of Ballet Technique with an emphasis on placement, vocabulary and dance etiquette. Students will also explore ballet based improvisation and creative expression, employing stories, games, music and rhythmic patterns. A fun and supportive first Ballet class.
Tuesdays at 4:30pm or Saturdays at 10:15am
Ballet II/III (2nd-4th)Is a blended classes for those dancers bridging between two levels that reinforces ballet curriculum with an emphasis on placement, vocabulary, technique, alignment, flexibility and vocabulary. There is a focus on performance quality and musicality and the development of concentration while adding creative expression and music and rhythmic patterns.
Tuesdays at 5:30pm or Saturdays at 11:15am
Ballet IV (5th-7th) Continues the study of classical ballet vocabulary and expands the curriculum to emphasize proper extension and articulation of arms, legs, and feet with more defined execution of the movement. Jumps, pirouettes, balances and more complicated movement sequences are introduced with a focus on performance quality and musicality.
